One platform. Two separate organisations.
CrisisConnect Limited and CrisisConnect Network CIC have distinct roles and legal identities.
CrisisConnect Limited
We design, build, own, operate and commercially develop the CrisisConnect platform. Software subscriptions, product development and technical delivery are the company’s responsibility.
CrisisConnect Network CIC
The CIC builds and supports the community network, including collaboration, referrals, resource sharing and Help Is Near. It is a separate organisation with its own decisions. Read the CIC explanation →
Buying software is a separate decision
Network participation and software purchasing are separate decisions. A community organisation can discuss joining the Network without committing to a CrisisConnect subscription. Where a specific service relies on the software, its terms and any costs should be made clear.
Interests and decisions
Adam is a founder and director of both organisations. In the CIC, financial or commercial decisions involving CrisisConnect Limited are to be made by unconflicted directors: Adam declares the interest, leaves the discussion and does not participate in the decision, subject to the CIC’s Articles and applicable law. Planned involvement of leaders of participating community organisations in CIC governance is an intention, not an existing board arrangement.
